Description: Michael Raines is a police detective who investigates murders. With the series premiere, Raines is returning to work after recovering from a shootout that killed his partner, Charlie Lincoln. Over the course of each episode, Raines involuntarily hallucinates the victims, whom he speaks to and uses as sounding boards for his case; as Raines learns more about the dead, the apparitions he sees change duly. Once Raines solves their murders, the hallucinations disappear.
