Description: A spin-off of the acclaimed show Babylon 5. It is set in the year 2267, five years after the events of Babylon 5 and immediately following the TV movie Babylon 5: A Call to Arms. The series centers around the crew of the Earth Alliance starship Excalibur, a new Interstellar Alliance vessel, commanded by Captain Matthew Gideon. Their critical mission is to find a cure for a deadly nanovirus plague released on Earth by the Drakh (former allies of the Shadows), which threatens to annihilate all life on the planet within five years.
