Description: Private detective Veronica Clare is just like the traditional private eyes of the 1940's, except that she is a non-violent female, but the classic film-noir style is there. Her headquarters is a jazz club in LA's Chinatown. She pursues only cases that interest her, often finding these herself, and refuses payment. Clare solves cases using her intelligence and intuition.
