Description: Tom and Casey Stafford with their sons John and Gus and adopted daughter, Kim living on a farm in Nebraska have trouble making ends meet, and accepting the fact that Casey's father, is living with them. An old-fashioned farmer, B. L. McCutcheon, loses his farm and has to move in with his daughter's family in the fictional rural town of Pritchard, Nebraska.
