Description: The Facts of Life is an American television sitcom and originally a spin-off of Diff'rent Strokes, the series follows Charlotte Rae as Mrs. Edna Garrett as she becomes a house mother and later dietitian at the fictional Eastland School, an all-girls boarding school in Peekskill, New York. The first season featured a large ensemble cast that was quickly trimmed. The premise of The Facts of Life changed numerous times throughout the course of its run, coinciding with the changing lives of its young characters.
