Description: The show was titled The Tony Orlando and Dawn Rainbow Hour during the 1976–1977 television season. From the summer of 1974, after The Sonny & Cher Comedy Hour ended its run, until December 1976. The show was in the same vein as its predecessor (with sketches featuring sarcastic back-and-forth banter between Orlando, Hopkins and Vincent, similar to the sarcastic dialogue between Sonny and Cher) and became a Top 20 hit.
